Join Richard Crossley, creator of the Crossley ID Guide series, for an evening discussion of the Past, Present, and Future of Birding. The event starts at 7 PM at The Event Center at the Gateway Building, SUNY-ESF, Syracuse, NY.
Richard Crossley, author of The Crossley ID Guide: Raptors, will give an evening lecture at Hawk Mountain Sanctuary on April 27. His lecture caps a day filled with activities sponsored by Pledge to Fledge, a group whose mission it is to introduce children and new birders to the joys of bird-watching. This is an excellent day to try out binoculars, learn basic bird-watching skills, and listen to experts on raptors, including an author team who tracked a bald eagle nest for a year.
