  • Expertise: experimental and therapeutic psychology.
  • Clark is a professor and chair of experimental psychology at University of Oxford,a fellow of Magdalen College and leads the Oxford Centre for Anxiety Disorders and Trauma. Clark, and co author of book, Thrive, were the main drivers behind the UK’s Improving Access to Psychological Therapies program.
  • He received his B.A. and D.Phil while studying Experimental Psychology at Oxford University, conducted his clinical training at the Institute of Psychiatry at Kings College, London, and received in M.Phil in Clinical Psychology.
  • Clark has received numerous awards, including, the May Davidson Award (British Psychological Society), was voted a World Leader in Anxiety Disorders Research by members of the Anxiety Disorders of America Association, and the Behavior Research and Therapy Award for the most outstanding article ( “A Cognitive Approach to Panic” )
