This Week’s Book Giveaway

On Wednesday, March 14 we’re celebrating Albert Einstein’s birthday and Pi Day—two very big events in Princeton! Einstein lived in Princeton for over 20 years, so to honor his big day we’re giving away a copy of a book of his quotations:

The Ultimate Quotable Einstein
Collected and edited by Alice Calaprice
With a foreword by Freeman Dyson

Here is the definitive new edition of the hugely popular collection of Einstein quotations that has sold tens of thousands of copies worldwide and been translated into twenty-five languages.

  1. Ah, if only I was eligible for this giveaway, but unfortunately, I recently bought this book. Highly, highly recommended for sure. I marvel at not only AE’s insight and contributions to the world of science, physics and humanity as a whole, but the quotes are priceless. They are sure to help you discern that facets of life and outlooks you may currently subscribe to are truly minute in the grand scheme of things. If you haven’t listened to the tips and advice your parents and grandparents have told you all your life, and you’re still stuck in worry mode or “future mode”, you’ll truly appreciate many of Einstein’s wonderful words of wisdom!

  2. My favourite Einstein quote is: “Reality is merely an illusion, albeit a very persistent one.” But being a magician, what else would you expect!
